| A 1.0-metre (40-inch) reflecting telescope in the Isaac Newton Group at the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos, La Palma, Canary Islands. Observing time is shared by the collaborating countries, which are the UK, Eire, Spain and the Netherlands. It is a specialist telescope for photometry and wide-field photography, and came into operation in 1984. |
